The EAEVE (EUROPEAN ASSOCIATION OF ESTABLISHMENTS FOR VETERINARY EDUCATION) expert team worked at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine (VMF) from November 7–11, 2016, and again from October 15–16, 2019. The purpose of the visit was to evaluate the compliance of the II-level professional study program "Veterinary Medicine," implemented by the LBTU VMF, with EU Directive 2005/36/EC on regulated professions.

As a result, during the ECOVE (European Committee of Veterinary Education) meeting on December 11, 2019, it was decided to grant EAEVE accreditation to the LBTU Faculty of Veterinary Medicine until 2026.
